About the event
Frog Friday is here!
Spring nights are coming alive again and that means the frogs are back! As the weather warms and the ground thaws, frogs emerge from their winter rest and head to wetlands to breed. Their calls are one of the first signs of spring, and each species has its own unique song.
Frogs play a really important role in the ecosystem; they help control insect populations (goodbye mosquitoes ), and they’re also indicators of a healthy environment. When frogs are thriving, it usually means the land and water are too.
Join us for an evening walk to listen, learn, and witness this seasonal shift on the land.
